We Expect – Nutrition: A Basic Human Right
This video points out the significance of micronutrient
malnutrition, especially as it affects women. It outlines the effects
of three micronutrient deficiencies: iron, iodine, and vitamin. Some examples
of how to overcome the deficiencies are given, and the need for immediate
action to expand on these efforts is emphasized.

As a component of the Global Vitamin A Initiative, this production was
sponsored by UNICEF, CIDA, MI, and USAID. Other products in the advocacy

Thirty-second video clips on the importance of vitamin A to child survival,
developed by UNICEF for broadcast through international media outlets.
They have been broadcasted by numerous satellite, cable and digital networks
worldwide reaching large audiences throughout the world.
